**PLEASE NOTE** - All settings, presets and backup audio files will be lost when upgrading from version 0.15 or earlier to version 0.90 or later.

**PLEASE NOTE** - Alarms and triggers configuration will be lost when updating from version 0.90.

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS
===================================================================
Required: A computer connected to the RBRX1 via network switch or direct with crossover cable, the upgrade .dat file, your RBRX1 and about 10 minutes of your time.

YOUR AUDIO WILL BE TAKEN OFF AIR FOR ABOUT 1-2 MINUTES OR SO DURING A CRUCIAL PART OF THE UPGRADE PROCESS. YOU MAY WISH TO UPGRADE AT A QUIET TIME LIKE THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. 

The RBRX1 can be assigned a static IP address or may be configured to obtain an IP address automatically using DHCP. You should contact your IT administrator for advice on how best to configure the unit for your network.

STATIC IP ADDRESS:
1. Set DHCP to 'OFF'
2. Navigate to the ethernet menu (in system menu).
3. Set the IP address, Default Gateway and Subnet mask
4. It is recommended that you set the port to '80'

DHCP:
1. Set DHCP to 'ON'
2. Within a few minutes the unit should display the IP address, Default Gateway and Subnet mask which the
DHCP server has supplied
3. It is recommended that you set the port to '80'

UPDATE PROCEDURE:
1. Configure Ethernet connection using chosen method above.
2. Using a web browser on a PC, connect to the IP address that you have configured the RBRX1 to use.
3a. (Version 0.90 and later) Click on 'Firmware Update' and select 'Upload'.
3b. (Version 0.15 and earlier) Click on the 'upgrade' link.
4. Select the 'upgrade.dat' file to upload
5. Upload the file.
6. Reboot the unit. The upgrade will take 1-2 minutes to complete.

REMOTE CONTROL OF THE RBRX1
===========================
The RBRX1 has a built-in webserver and as such does not require the installation of any software for remote control.  Simply enter the IP address shown in the 'System' 'Ethernet' menu into a web browser's address bar to control your receiver.
